Forests are shrinking, natural resources are declining, and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent, posing major challenges to sustainable development. In reality, nature conservation and climate change response are no longer separate issues; they are increasingly interconnected.

Mr. CARTER ROBERTS, President and CEO, WWF-US
"Over the years, I have witnessed the global challenges related to both climate change and natural resources. In the past, climate programs often received greater attention. However, in recent years, there has been growing recognition that natural resources are equally important, and these two issues are now viewed with the same level of urgency. We can clearly see that climate change and natural resources are organically linked. We cannot address climate change without also protecting nature. Likewise, without improving the state of natural resources, it will be impossible to effectively tackle climate challenges."

Mr. TRINH VIET HUNG, Minister of Agriculture and Environment
"Repairing environmental damage is extremely important. At the same time, developing stronger solutions to prevent human activities from harming nature is equally critical. From the perspective of organizations such as WWF, as well as the United States and other major countries, I believe we need broader, more comprehensive, and more global solutions to prevent human actions from causing further damage to the natural environment."
