The live pig market in the North increased slightly in some areas compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, the price of pigs in Bac Giang rose by VND 1,000, reaching VND 64,000/kg, equal to the price in Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, and Hanoi.
With the same increase, traders in Nam Dinh have purchased at VND 63,000/kg, which is the same as in Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang.
In other areas, the price remained stable at VND 62,000/kg, the lowest in the region.
Thus, the live pig prices in the North on December 9, 2024, are trading at VND 62,000 - 64,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions also increased slightly compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the live pig prices in Quang Tri and Quang Nam rose by VND 1,000, reaching VND 61,000/kg. This is also the price in Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Dak Lak.
Except for traders in Quang Binh and Khanh Hoa who are buying at VND 60,000/kg, the remaining areas have prices around VND 62,000 - 63,000/kg.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 9, 2024, are being purchased around VND 60,000 - 63,000/kg.
The live pig market in the South remains stable compared to yesterday.
Among them, VND 64,000/kg is the highest price in the region and is being traded in Can Tho.
Other areas are still purchasing around VND 61,000 - 63,000/kg.
