In the North, live pig prices continue to increase slightly in many areas. The purchase price ranges from VND 61,000 to VND 63,000/kg, with the highest prices recorded in Bac Giang, Hanoi, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong.
Along with this increase, live pig prices in Yen Bai, Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, and Nam Dinh have also risen to VND 62,000/kg.
The Central and Central Highlands regions also recorded a slight increase in prices in some provinces such as Ha Tinh and Nghe An. The purchase price of live pigs in this area ranges from VND 60,000 to VND 63,000/kg.
Currently, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions fluctuate between VND 60,000 and VND 63,000/kg. Lam Dong is the province with the highest recorded price in the region, reaching VND 63,000/kg.
In the South, live pig prices have shown mixed fluctuations, ranging from VND 60,000 to VND 64,000/kg. Kien Giang continues to have the highest price in the region, reaching VND 64,000/kg.
In Binh Duong and An Giang, prices have slightly increased by VND 1,000/kg, reaching VND 63,000/kg. Traders in Kien Giang continue to purchase live pigs at the highest price in the region VND 64,000/kg.
On the other hand, only two provinces, Tien Giang and Tra Vinh, are trading at the lowest price in the region VND 61,000/kg.
Overall, live pig prices today continue to rise slightly in many regions, particularly in the North and Central-Central Highlands regions. The prices range from VND 60,000 to 64,000/kg, with the highest price recorded in Kien Giang (VND 64,000/kg).
