Live pig prices on December 8 in the North

The live pig market in the North remains stable compared to yesterday. Prices in the North have increased significantly this week.

Many areas, such as Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Hanoi, have raised their prices to VND 64,000/kg, after an increase of VND 2,000. This is also the price in Thai Binh after a VND 1,000 increase.

Except for Phu Tho, where the price remains steady at VND 63,000/kg, other regions have seen an increase of VND 1,000 - 2,000 compared to last week.

Thus, live pig prices in the North on December 8, 2024, are trading at VND 62,000 - 64,000/kg.

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions remains stable compared to yesterday. This week, prices here have also increased.

Specifically, provinces like Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa are holding steady at VND 60,000/kg, and Lam Dong remains at VND 63,000/kg.

Other areas have increased by VND 1,000 - 2,000, reaching VND 61,000 - 63,000/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands on December 8, 2024, are being purchased at around VND 60,000 - 63,000/kg.

Live pig prices on December 8 in the South

The live pig market in the South has shown no new changes compared to yesterday. This week, the market fluctuated in different directions.

Specifically, traders in Kien Giang and Hau Giang are trading at VND 63,000/kg and VND 61,000/kg, respectively, after a decrease of VND 1,000.

On the other hand, Dong Thap increased by VND 2,000, purchasing at VND 63,000/kg, which is now on par with Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Vinh Long after a VND 1,000 increase.

Notably, the price of pigs in Can Tho has reached the highest level in the region - VND 64,000/kg - also thanks to a VND 1,000 increase.

Other provinces have shown no changes compared to the previous week.

Thus, live pig prices in the South on December 8, 2024, are being traded within the range of VND 61,000 - 64,000/kg.
