Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for September 2025 delivery slipped by $ 29 (equivalent to 0.63%), down to $ 4,581/ton. The November 2025 contract lost $ 40 (or 0.90%), standing at $ 4,414/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for September 2025 delivery edged up by 0.5 cents (equivalent to 0.13%), to 385.75 cents/lb. The December 2025 contract increased by 0.75 cents (or 0.75%), reaching 374.40 cents/lb.

According to the International Coffee Organization (ICO), global exports of green coffee beans in July fell by 0.7% year-on-year, to 10.3 million bags. In contrast, Colombia’s washed arabica production in August increased by 19% compared with last year, reaching 1.24 million bags.
German Bahamon, Chairman of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, said that the higher output was due to the harvest being delayed by prolonged rains. However, he warned that production is expected to decrease in Q4 by around 1 million bags compared with 2024. In 2024, Colombia produced just under 14 million bags and exported about 12.3 million bags. Exports in August reached 1.13 million bags, up 10% year-on-year.
