On the global market, prices on both the London and New York exchanges moved sharply on August 30, 2025.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for September 2025 delivery slipped by $ 7 (equivalent to 0.14%), down to $ 5,001/ton. Meanwhile, the November 2025 contract edged up by $ 7 (or 0.15%), standing at $ 4,815/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for September 2025 delivery surged by 9.1 cents (equivalent to 2.35%), reaching 396.85 cents/lb. The December 2025 contract also gained strongly, up 8.6 cents (or 2.8%), to 386.10 cents/lb.
Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on August 30, 2025
Global coffee prices today showed slight fluctuations on the London exchange. Meanwhile, Arabica prices on the New York exchange rebounded strongly, reaching a 3.5-month high, supported by global trade disruptions after the U.S. imposed a 50% tariff on coffee imports from Brazil.
Coffee prices on August 30, 2025, domestically and globally
Along with that, inventories on the exchanges continued to decline. Robusta stocks on the ICE exchange have fallen to the lowest level in a month, while Arabica is also at the lowest level in more than a year.
Despite these developments, a Reuters survey suggested that the price of this commodity may fall at the end of the year, especially if production prospects in Brazil and Vietnam improve.
However, the production forecast for the 2025/26 crop year in Brazil has been revised down compared with previous estimates (to 63.35 million bags according to Safras & Mercado and 62.3 million bags according to StoneX), mainly due to Arabica output decreasing by as much as 18.4%.
This shows that the global coffee market will still experience many unpredictable fluctuations in the coming period.
Thus, coffee prices today, August 30, 2025, in the global market rose sharply on the New York exchange compared with yesterday.
In the domestic market, coffee prices on August 30, 2025, remained stable compared with yesterday.
