Rice prices on December 9 domestically

The rice and paddy market on December 9 continues to show no new changes for both rice and paddy.

The price of paddy today (December 9) remains stable. Fresh paddy prices are still high, but trading is slow, with few buyers.

  • Long An 3-month sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg;
  • IR 50404 paddy is around VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 paddy is at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg;
  • OM 5451 paddy is traded at VND 8,600 - 8,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 9,000 - 9,200/kg;
  • OM 380 paddy remains around VND 7,200/kg; the price of Japanese paddy is stable at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen paddy (dry) is traded at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.

Meanwhile, the rice prices today (December 9) also remain unchanged, with a small quantity arriving and few high-quality rice available. Rice warehouses are slightly raising prices for regular and sticky rice.

  • The price of IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is VND 10,200 - 10,300/kg; the price of IR 504 finished rice VND is 12,220 - 12,400/kg;
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; Regular rice is at VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is bought at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at VND 21,500/kg; Soc rice is steady at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND at 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwan fragrant rice is at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice is steady at VND 22,000/kg.
  • The price of OM 5451 broken rice is VND 9,000 - 9,200/kg, and the price of dry rice bran is VND 5,900 - 6,000/kg.

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $ 408/ton; the price of standard 5% broken rice is $ 517/ton. The price of 25% broken rice is at $ 482/ton.
