Update on rice and paddy prices on December 5, 2024
The rice and paddy markets today, December 5, are stable, with no significant changes in prices for both rice and paddy. The price of paddy remains high, with limited trading activity.
Similarly, rice prices today (December 5) also remain stable, with low supply and slow buying at markets.
In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice arrivals are slow, with most stock remaining in warehouses and buyers purchasing slowly. The prices of various types of raw rice have decreased slightly. In Lap Vo, there are sporadic arrivals from Soc Trang and Bac Lieu, with a slight downward trend in prices.
On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $ 408/ton (a decrease of $ 2), while the price of 5% broken rice is $ 517/ton (a decrease of $ 3). The price of 25% broken rice stands at $ 482/ton (a decrease of $ 3).
Thus, the rice and paddy prices today, December 5, 2024, have not changed compared to yesterday.
