Rice prices on December 1 domestically

The rice market today sees no new changes for both paddy and rice.

Paddy prices today (December 1) remain stable. Many regions are seeing high prices with limited supply, primarily driven by the demand for fragrant rice.

  • Long An sticky rice (dried) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg.
  • IR 50404 paddy is trading at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg (up by VND 100); the price of Dai Thom 8 paddy is around VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 paddy is priced at VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg.
  • OM 380 paddy is at VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg; Japanese paddy is at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg.
  • Nang Nhen paddy (dried) is at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 paddy is at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.

Similarly, rice prices today (December 1) remain stable. The quantity of rice available is low, with fewer high-quality varieties. The prices for fragrant and sticky rice are higher.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn paddy is priced at VND 10,200 - 10,300/kg; finished IR 504 rice is priced at VND 12,300 - 12,500/kg.
  • Sticky rice is priced at 18,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; regular rice is priced at VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Fragrant Thai long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is priced at VND 21,500/kg; regular Soc rice is stable at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; Thai Soc rice is at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwanese fragrant rice is at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice is stable at VND 22,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg, while dry rice bran is at VND 5,800 - 6,000/kg.

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 410/ton; the price of 5% broken rice is being purchased at $ 520/ton. The price of 25% broken rice is at $ 485/ton.

Thus, the rice prices on December 1, 2024, have remained unchanged compared to yesterday.
