Rice prices on November 27 domestically

The rice market on November 27 remained steady for paddy but saw a slight decrease in rice.

The price of paddy did not show any new changes. Many localities have slow transactions, with little new demand for purchase.

  • Long An sticky rice 3 months (dry) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg;
  • IR 50404 paddy is around VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 paddy is at VND 8,600 - 8,800/kg;
  • OM 5451 paddy is being traded at VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 8,500 - 8,600/kg;
  • OM 380 paddy stays at VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg; the price of Japanese paddy is at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen paddy (dry) is traded at VND 20,000/kg; while Nang Hoa 9 is steady at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.

Meanwhile, rice prices today show a slight decrease of VND 50 - 200. The amount of rice is low, making it hard to purchase fragrant and sticky rice, which has slightly increased in price.

  • The price of IR 504 Summer-Autumn raw rice is at VND 10,300 - 10,400/kg (down by VND 50); the price of IR 504 finished rice is VND 12,400 - 12,500/kg (down by VND 50);
  • The price of sticky rice is VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; Regular rice is VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND 21,500/kg; Soc regular rice remains at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; while Soc Thai rice is at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwan fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • The price of OM 5451 broken rice is at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg (down by VND 100), and the price of dry bran is VND 5,700 - 5,900/kg (down by VND 200).

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $ 410/ton; standard 5% broken rice is being purchased at $ 522/ton. Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice is at $ 485/ton.

Thus, the price of paddy and rice on November 27, 2024, has slightly decreased for rice compared to yesterday.
