After a period of severe outbreak, African Swine Fever in Bac Kan has gradually subsided. By the end of November, 75 out of 102 communes, wards, and towns in the province have declared the disease under control, and 12 communes have gone 21 days without new cases of sick pigs.
The People's Committee of Bac Kan Province has also issued a document requiring relevant authorities and localities to intensify efforts in disease prevention and control. There will be strict enforcement against the buying, selling, or transporting of diseased pigs, and actions will be taken to prevent the disposal of dead pigs in ways that could spread disease or cause environmental pollution.
