Coffee prices on June 20, 2025: Arabica continues to plunge

(VAN) Coffee prices on June 20, 2025, fluctuated, with Arabica plunging by 3%. Domestic coffee prices remained flat, trading at VND 103,000 – 103,500/kg.

Globally, prices on the London and New York exchanges showed mixed movements on June 20, 2025.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery rose slightly by $14 (equivalent to 0.35%), reaching $4,034/ton. Meanwhile, the September 2025 contract edged down by $4 (or 0.1%), settling at $3,887/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for July 2025 delivery dropped sharply by 10.15 cents (3.05%) to 322.30 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract fell another 10.40 cents (3.17%), down to 317.80 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today show an upward trend on the London exchange but continued to plunge on the New York exchange.

Robusta coffee stocks on the London exchange stood at 858,333 bags, an increase of 18.44% from the beginning of the year. The European Coffee Federation noted that robusta inventories at major European ports rose by 10.98% in April, reaching 2.6 million bags.

This comes amid geopolitical tensions and a strengthening US dollar, while the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged as expected.

Thus, global coffee prices on June 20, 2025, were mixed compared to the previous day.

In the domestic market, coffee prices in Vietnam on June 20, 2025, remained stable compared to the previous day.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the three districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 103,000/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 103,500/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 103,400/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 103,500/kg and VND 103,400/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 103,300/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of VND 103,200/kg.

Meanwhile, the purchase price of coffee in Kon Tum today is VND 103,200/kg.

Thus, on June 20, 2025, domestic coffee prices are trading around VND 103,000 – VND 103,500/kg.
