(VAN) Coffee prices on June 18, 2025, declined globally, with Arabica losing about 2.3%. Domestic prices fell by VND 1,600, down to VND 109,400 – 110,000/kg.

Globally, coffee prices on the London and New York exchanges continued to decline on June 18, 2025.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery dropped another $ 42 (equivalent to 0.96%), falling to $ 4,319/ton. The September 2025 contract also decreased slightly by $37 (equivalent to 0.88%), to $ 4,155/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica for July 2025 delivery fell sharply by 8.1 cents (equivalent to 2.35%), down to 335.85 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract lost an additional 7.8 cents (equivalent to 2.29%), settling at 332.45 cents/lb.

The Brazilian real has appreciated by 4.04% since the beginning of June, prompting farmers to reduce sales due to lower returns when converted into the local currency. However, producers are still maintaining stable financial positions.

Coffee prices on June 18 domestically

In the domestic market, coffee prices in Vietnam continue to decline compared to the previous day.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the three districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 109,400/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 110,000/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 109,900/kg.

In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are offering VND 109,900/kg and VND 109,800/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 109,800/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a level of VND 109,700/kg.

Meanwhile, the purchasing price of coffee in Kon Tum today is VND 109,700/kg.

Domestic coffee prices continue to drop sharply by an additional VND 1,500 – 1,600, pushing this agricultural product down to around VND 110,000/kg.

Thus, as of June 18, 2025, domestic coffee prices are trading in the range of VND 109,400 – 110,000/kg.
