On October 19, Blue Ocean JSC, a subsidiary of Dai Duong Group, inaugurated a frozen fruit processing plant in Lam Dong province.
This project marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to expand production scale and improve its agricultural processing capacity. It not only meets the growing demand for safe and clean agricultural products but also reflects the company’s long-term vision to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products in the global market.
The plant, equipped with advanced technology, can produce and supply over 10,000 tons of products annually. It processes a wide range of fruits sourced from Lam Dong and neighboring Central Highlands provinces, as well as the Mekong Delta region, including durian, passion fruit, rambutan, mango, and dragon fruit.
These products are processed using a quick-freezing and packaging system immediately after harvest, preserving their flavor, freshness, and natural nutritional value.

The plant operates under international food safety standards, such as HACCP and BRCGS, ensuring compliance with the strict requirements of major markets like the U.S, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and the EU. It also positions Vietnam favorably for exporting to China, a key market with high consumption demand and a geographical advantage for shipping.
Mr. Phan Quoc Nam, Business Director of Blue Ocean JSC, stated that the company has established a supply chain from farms and raw material regions, controlling quality through contracts with farmers who adhere to the company's standards for quality, pesticide residue, and other criteria.
"When partnering with farmers, we provide fertilizer, seeds, and materials to ensure they feel secure in their investment, knowing they have the company’s support", Mr. Nam shared.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh Binh, Director of the Xanh Cao Nguyen High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative, highlighted the importance of creating a supply chain with farmers. The cooperative gathers farmers and businesses to establish planting area codes and large-scale farms that apply advanced technology, meeting GlobalGAP and international export standards.
"This cooperation increases the scale and output, helping meet the current and future international market standards," Mr. Binh explained.
Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thach, CEO of Blue Ocean JSC, described the Lam Dong plant as a strategic move to optimize the company’s supply chain, from raw material regions to production and distribution in both domestic and export markets.
In addition to the Lam Dong facility, Blue Ocean also operates a fresh fruit packaging plant in Dong Thap, diversifying its product range and maximizing the use of raw materials to meet market demands for fresh, frozen, and dried products. This expansion not only capitalizes on the local abundance of raw materials but also creates hundreds of jobs, contributing to the socio-economic development of the area.
The development of an additional factory in Lam Dong, along with a fresh fruit packaging plant in Dong Thap province, aims to diversify products and optimize input materials to meet market demands for fresh, frozen, and dried product lines.
This not only takes advantage of the abundant local resources but also creates hundreds of job opportunities for the local population, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.

During the event, Blue Ocean JSC and Japan’s Maia company signed a MoU on a strategic partnership to supply frozen fruits and vegetables.
