Granja Fujikura Group wishes to develop high-tech agriculture in Vietnam

(VAN) Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a working session with the leadership of Granja Fujikura, a high-tech agricultural farm in Brazil, which is part of the Granja Fujikura system originating from Japan.

Mr. William Shuhei Fujikura, Director of Fujikura Company, stated that in 2025, Fujikura Quail Genetics conducted a survey in Vietnam and is currently collaborating with Trong Khoi Company to develop quail farming in the Vietnamese and Asian markets.

He expressed his hope that the Government of Vietnam, along with relevant ministries, agencies, and local authorities, will create favorable conditions for the company to operate effectively in Vietnam, not only in quail farming but also in developing large-scale high-tech agriculture.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Granja Fujikura on its global business achievements in recent years and highly appreciated the company’s cooperation with Trong Khoi, one of Vietnam’s leading enterprises in quail egg exports. He affirmed that, building on the strong Vietnam-Brazil partnership, Vietnam welcomes and encourages Brazilian enterprises, including Granja Fujikura, to continue expanding their business and investment cooperation in the Vietnamese market.

According to the Prime Minister, Vietnam aims to achieve agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports worth USD 100 billion in the coming years. To realize this goal, the Vietnamese Government is committed to addressing structural issues in the sector, including institutions, policies, human resources, and land, while creating favorable conditions for private enterprises and foreign investors to develop and export agricultural products.

Emphasizing that Vietnam has a promising consumer market with a population of over 100 million people, a rapidly growing middle class, and a strategic position as a gateway to the ASEAN region, one of the world's most dynamic and attractive destinations for investors, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hoped that Granja Fujikura would strengthen cooperation with domestic partners to bring its products closer to Vietnamese and regional consumers, while also contributing to the introduction of Vietnamese agricultural products to the Brazilian market and the company’s global distribution network.

The Prime Minister also expressed his desire for the company to cooperate with and support Vietnamese partners in enhancing their capacities, particularly in areas such as market development, technology transfer, and product promotion, in the spirit of “say it, do it; commit it, deliver it effectively.” He assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Finance to continue working with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to support the company in exploring and implementing investment and business activities in Vietnam, as well as to facilitate its cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises.

Granja Fujikura is a quail farming enterprise based in Brazil with roots in Japan. As of 2025, the company has over 55 years of operation, including 47 years specializing in coturniculture (quail farming).

Currently, the company supplies high-quality quail eggs and breeding quails across Brazil and for international export. It operates a modern hatchery system with a capacity of up to 700,000 eggs and facilities that meet the standards set by Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture.
