TH Group receives Green Enterprise - Net Zero Action Awards 2026

The World Energy and Environment - Viet Nam 2026 Forum, themed "Viet Nam's Pathway to Net Zero", was organized by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) at the National Convention Center in Hanoi on July 8, 2026.

According to the Organizing Committee, TH Group was among the 10 enterprises recognized for its strong implementation of green economy models, commitment to technological innovation, improved energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and sustainable business practices. The award recipients were selected based on nominations from local authorities, with reference to assessment tools and guidelines developed by the World Energy Council Viet Nam (WEC-VN), and their submissions were evaluated by an independent panel of experts.

The award recognizes TH Group's steadfast commitment to pursuing a green and circular economy model, an approach the company has consistently developed over many years. Integrated throughout its value chain, from production to consumption, this model seeks to balance economic performance, social responsibility, and environmental protection, reflecting the philosophy of Labor Hero Thai Huong, the Group's Founder: "Cherish Mother Nature, and Nature will give back abundantly."

Since its establishment in 2009, TH's founder has pursued a development strategy built on science, technology, innovation, and respect for nature, with the vision of delivering products made entirely from natural ingredients, contributing to better public health while creating long-term value for society.

TH's philosophy of "Cherishing Mother Nature" has been translated into a series of large-scale investments that apply advanced technologies across agriculture, centralized dairy farming, food processing, and integrated value chain management. The Group aims to optimize resource use, improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote circular economy principles throughout its operations.

TH measures its greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the internationally recognized GHG Protocol, while incorporating the latest guidance from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). All business units across the Group monitor emissions indicators and implement measures to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint. The Group's greenhouse gas emissions intensity per unit of product has steadily declined over the years, reflecting its commitment to supporting the Vietnamese Government's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

In 2023 and 2024, two TH subsidiaries, TH Milk Joint Stock Company and Nui Tien Pure Water Co., Ltd., achieved carbon neutrality in accordance with international standards, with certification independently verified by Control Union. Both companies have also committed to maintaining their carbon-neutral status in the years ahead.

As part of its transition to renewable energy, TH Group has steadily expanded its installed solar power capacity. In 2025, the Group's rooftop solar systems generated 14.726 million kWh of electricity, reducing annual carbon dioxide emissions by more than 9,700 tonnes of CO₂. Notably, the energy intensity of TH's dairy processing plant fell by 25%, from 0.14 in 2023 to 0.105 in 2025, following the implementation of energy efficiency measures.

In addition, all TH Group subsidiaries operate advanced wastewater treatment systems that comply with QCVN 62:2016/BTNMT discharge standards. Biological sludge and livestock manure are collected through enclosed piping systems and recycled into organic fertilizer and livestock bedding materials. These measures have enabled TH's farms to reduce methane emissions by at least 70% compared with conventional practices.

TH has also stepped up efforts to reduce plastic use and adopt more environmentally friendly materials. The Group has cut yogurt spoon usage by 50% while switching to biodegradable plastic alternatives. Through measures such as eliminating shrink wrap on bottle caps, reducing label thickness, and lowering the weight of plastic bottles, Nui Tien Pure Water Factory has reduced plastic consumption by nearly 600 tonnes annually.

One of the key factors behind TH Group's recognition with the Green Enterprise - Net Zero Action Award was the transparency of its Sustainability Report. First published in 2018 in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, the annual report provides comprehensive ESG disclosures structured around six sustainability pillars: nutrition and health, education, environment, community, people, and animal welfare. Each year, independent third-party auditors verify key data, reinforcing the Group's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Recognizing people as its most valuable asset, TH continues to invest in the holistic development of its workforce. In addition to promoting employee health and well-being, the Group actively fosters a culture of sustainable development by integrating ESG principles into its operations and advancing its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with the Vietnamese Government's pledge.

The World Energy and Environment - Viet Nam 2026 Forum is one of the country's largest national events dedicated to energy, the environment, and the green transition. The forum was attended and chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development, together with nearly 500 delegates.

Beyond high-level policy dialogues on Viet Nam's pathway to Net Zero by 2050, the event also featured the "Green Pathway - Net Zero Viet Nam" Exhibition, showcasing more than 50 booths presenting outstanding green models, projects, technologies, and innovations from provinces and businesses across the country.
