The rice and paddy market on September 12 is experiencing a mild decline in prices. Demand for rice and paddy remains stable, but prices are trending downward.

According to the Department of Water Resources (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), as of 5 p.m. on September 11, approximately 115,017 ha of rice and 32,119 ha of vegetables in the northern region have been flooded and damaged.
On September 11, water levels in the Red River – Thai Binh system and other irrigation systems remained high, with some pumping stations and sluice gates having to stop operations according to regulations. Internal pumping stations are preparing to cease operations.
Specifically, the North-South Ha irrigation system has stopped operations at 7 out of 12 stations. The North Hung Hai irrigation system closed An Tho sluice at 6:30 a.m. on September 11, and closed Cau Xe sluice at noon on September 11, with the My Dong pumping station ceasing operations at 11:25 a.m. on September 11.
Additionally, water pumping into the North Hung Hai irrigation system was halted from 1 p.m. on September 11. The North Duong irrigation system has currently stopped operations at 30 out of 44 pumping stations. Water pumping into the Ngu Huyen Khe river was halted from the morning of September 11.
The Nhue River irrigation system has stopped pumping water into the Nhue River irrigation system.
Other areas like Thai Binh and Hai Duong have also had to stop many water pumping stations due to high river levels.
As of 4 p.m. on September 11, northern provinces are operating 484 pumping stations with 2,044 pumps.
