Globally, pepper prices on October 29 have seen a significant decline in Indonesia. The price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia fell by 0.64%, reaching $ 6,681/ton, while the price of Muntok white pepper dropped by 0.65% to $ 9,146/ton.
In Malaysia, Kuching black pepper (ASTA grade) is priced at $ 8,500/ton, and ASTA-grade white pepper is at $ 11,000/ton.
In Brazil, the price for ASTA 570 black pepper is currently $ 6,400/ton.
In Vietnam, export prices for black pepper are $ 6,500/ton for the 500 g/l grade and $ 6,800/ton for the 550 g/l grade, while white pepper exports are priced at $ 9,500/ton.
In Indonesia, both domestic and international pepper prices maintained stability last week. However, due to a 1% drop in the Malaysian Ringgit against the USD (4.33 MYR/USD), both domestic and export prices for Malaysian pepper decreased over the week.
In Vietnam, black pepper prices remained stable, while white pepper prices saw a decline.
Thus, global pepper prices on 10/29/2024, have decreased in Indonesia compared to yesterday.
In the domestic market, pepper prices on October 29 have continued to slightly decline compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Dak Lak, pepper is being purchased at VND 143,000/kg, a decrease of VND 500.
In Dak Nong, pepper prices have also fallen to VND 143,000/kg.
In Gia Lai, pepper is still trading at VND 142,000/kg.
In Dong Nai, traders are purchasing pepper at VND 142,000/kg.
Prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau are around VND 143,000/kg.
In Binh Phuoc, pepper is being traded at VND 142,000/kg.
