On the afternoon of July 23, the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, in partnership with MM Mega Market Vietnam, hosted a promotional event for American agricultural products under the theme “From Prosperous American Farms.”
The event welcomed U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper, along with representatives from MM Mega Market Vietnam and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Its goal was to showcase a diverse range of premium American food and beverage products to Vietnamese consumers, while highlighting the richness and abundance of U.S. agriculture.
The opening ceremony was held at MM Mega Market Thang Long in Hanoi, with the campaign rolling out simultaneously across all MM Mega Market locations nationwide.

From July 23 to August 6, Vietnamese shoppers will have the chance to enjoy a unique culinary journey into American cuisine, featuring special promotions, free product tastings, and live American-style cooking demonstrations.
The campaign spotlights more than 80 standout products from America’s heritage-rich farms, including cherries, apples, grapes, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, potatoes, raisins, prunes, dates, pork, beef, cheese, chicken, tofu, wine, canned meats, cookies, beans and lentils, sauces, nutritional beverages, beer, canned corn, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, fruit preserves, and many other specialty goods.

Speaking at the event, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper said, “This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Vietnam – three decades of enduring friendship and strong cooperation. Over the years, our partnership has deepened across many areas, and today, Vietnam stands as one of the United States’ most important export markets for agricultural products.
We are proud to bring high-quality, safe, and nutritious products to Vietnamese consumers. With superior quality, a reliable supply chain, and a commitment to sustainability, American food and beverage products are playing an increasingly important role in advancing our bilateral trade relationship. Last year alone, U.S. consumer-oriented agricultural exports to Vietnam reached a record high of 1.1 billion USD.”
The event also featured the participation of 14 leading U.S. agricultural trade associations under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, including: the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), the National Pork and Beef Councils, the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council, the Raisin Administrative Committee, Potatoes USA, the California Table Grape Commission, the Washington Apple Commission, the California Milk Advisory Board, the California Fresh Fruit Association, the California Prune Board, the Northwest Cherry Growers, the U.S. Soybean Export Council, and the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council.
