The Sa Pa warehouse is the 5th warehouse of MM Mega Market Vietnam (MM Vietnam) nationwide. This is an essential step in MM’s plan to expand and develop the supply network system from 2020 to 2025 to serve proficient customers, especially HoReCa customers better.

Located on the main road about 2km from the center of Sa Pa town, the Sa Pa warehouse possesses a total land area of 480 m2. The warehouse area occupies 394 m2 with target customers including businesses operating in hotels, restaurants, and canteens (HoReCa) in Sa Pa.

As a part of MM Mega Market Vietnam’s supply chain, the Sa Pa warehouse operates with the criterion of serving proficient customers with the freshest products, the best prices, and the fastest delivery time in the 38km area from Lao Cai City to Sapa Town center. The items distributed here include fresh food (45%), dry food (45%), and other consumer goods (10%).

Sa Pa is a small town located in the Northwest highlands with many concentrated residential areas, with low operating and transportation costs in the inner city. In recent years, Sa Pa has emerged as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the North. The development of tourism has led to substantial investment in the hotel restaurant system and their owners - the target customers of MM Vietnam.

In addition, transport of goods by road from Hanoi to Lao Cai city takes about 5 hours, resulting in considerable consumption of financial resources, human resources, fuel, and time. The demand for the closest supplier of goods with the best product quality and the most competitive prices has also increased as a result.

Realizing the strong potential for development, MM Vietnam selected Sa Pa as the 5th destination in the delivery system of MM Mega Market.

Mr. Bruno Jousselin, CEO of MM Mega Market Vietnam shared: “Vietnam's tourism industry in the post-Covid-19 period is anticipated to quickly recover and catch up to the strong development momentum. The opening of the Sa Pa warehouse at one of the famous tourist destinations in Vietnam is the business strategy of MM - a leading food supplier for proficient customers, namely HoReCa customers. We hope that the Sa Pa warehouse will offer our customers not only quality products but also specialized solutions with competitive prices and the fastest delivery time to meet the increasing needs of customers. This year, we had planned to open more delivery depots in tourist cities and provinces across the country”.
