Live pig prices on October 1

The pig market in the North has slightly decreased compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, several provinces such as Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh have seen a drop of VND 1,000, bringing the pig prices down to around VND 68,000/kg.

Other provinces are still purchasing pigs at yesterday's prices.

Thus, northern live pig prices on 10/01/2024, are trading in the range of VND 68,000 - 69,000/kg.

Live pig prices on October 1 in the Central and Central Highlands

The pig market in the Central and Central Highlands has slightly decreased in some areas compared to yesterday.

Specifically, pig prices in Thanh Hoa have fallen to VND 67,000/kg, following a VND 1,000 decrease.

With the same reduction, traders in Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan are purchasing at VND 65,000/kg and VND 64,000/kg, respectively.

Other provinces are trading at yesterday’s pig prices.

Thus, Central and Central Highlands pig prices on 10/01/2024, are being purchased around the range of VND 64,000 - 67,000/kg.

Live pig prices on October 1 in the South

The southern pig market dropped by up to VND 2,000 compared to yesterday.

In particular, Binh Duong and Dong Thap are both trading at VND 66,000/kg, after a slight decrease of VND 1,000.

Similarly, pig prices in Binh Phuoc and Ho Chi Minh City are being purchased at VND 65,000. This price is also being traded by traders in Dong Nai, after a decrease of VND 2,000.

Other localities are maintaining yesterday's pig prices.

Thus, Southern pig prices on 10/01/2024, are being traded in the range of VND 64,000 - 66,000/kg.

Ha Tinh imposes heavy fines on pig farming facilities for environmental pollution

According to the decision of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Huu Can (born in 1976), residing in Nguyen Du Ward (Ha Tinh City), was fined VND 237.5 million for failing to comply with one or more aspects of the decision approving the environmental impact assessment report as required; discharging wastewater containing environmental parameters exceeding the technical standards for waste by more than ten times.

The Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee requires Mr Tran Huu Can to take measures to rectify the environmental pollution situation and report the results of the remedial actions taken. The deadline for implementing the remedial actions is 60 days from the date of receiving the decision.
