This is a case in which residents proactively reported and handed over a wild animal after it appeared in the residential area.

Accordingly, on the same day, a household living on Thong Nhat street, Duc Trong commune, discovered a pangolin individual entering their home. Recognizing it as a protected species, the family contacted the authorities for guidance on handling the situation.

A representative of the authorities said that, after completing the necessary procedures, the pangolin will be transferred to the provincial Wildlife Rescue Center for continued care and monitoring before being considered for release back into nature.
