Coffee prices on June 27, 2025: Market rebounds

(VAN) Coffee prices on June 27, 2025, have rebounded globally. Domestic prices rose by VND 3,000, climbing to around VND 93,500 – VND 93,800/kg.

Globally, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges rose simultaneously on June 27, 2025.

On the London exchange, Robusta for September 2025 delivery rebounded strongly by $141 (equivalent to 4%), returning to $ 3,665/ton. The November 2025 contract also climbed by $ 121 (equivalent to 3.48%), reaching $ 3,595/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica for September 2025 delivery edged up by 1.15 cents (equivalent to 0.38%), to 305.65 cents/lb, while the December 2025 contract increased by 1.6 cents (equivalent to 0.54%), to 300.40 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices rebounded today after several days of steep declines, especially Robusta, which surged by up to 4%. The recovery was driven by a weakening U.S. dollar, which fell to its lowest level in more than three years, triggering short covering on both the London and New York exchanges.

For the 2025–2026 crop year, USDA forecasts global coffee production to rise to 178.68 million bags (up 2.45%), thanks to a recovery in Robusta output. Consumption is projected at 169.36 million bags, resulting in a potential surplus of 9.32 million bags.

Thus, global coffee prices on June 27, 2025, have risen again compared to the previous day.

In Vietnam, the domestic coffee market saw a strong increase on June 27, 2025, compared to the previous day.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the three districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 93,500/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 93,800/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 93,700/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are buying at VND 93,800/kg and VND 93,700/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 93,700/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding at VND 93,600/kg.

Meanwhile, in Kon Tum, coffee is being purchased today at VND 93,600/kg.

Domestic coffee prices today rose sharply by VND 2,800 – VND 3,000, bringing this agricultural product close to the VND 94,000/kg mark.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on June 27, 2025, are trading around VND 93,500 – VND 93,800/kg.
