Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on July 15, 2026
Global coffee prices continued to decline sharply on the New York exchange while rebounding modestly on the London exchange. According to Reuters and Barchart, the volatile price action reflects cautious speculative sentiment as investment flows continue to rotate, resulting in heightened market volatility.
Earlier, Arabica prices experienced a turbulent week, surging 16% at the beginning of the week before retreating in subsequent sessions, though they still recorded an overall weekly gain of around 11%. In Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer, rainfall associated with El Niño has eased considerably, and forecasts of dry weather over the next 7–10 days are expected to improve harvesting conditions.
In the Cerrado Mineiro region, approximately 32% of the expected crop has been harvested, supported by favorable conditions for mechanized harvesting and drying, although the pace remains behind the same period last year. In addition to weather conditions, rising production costs and labor shortages have prompted many Brazilian farmers to continue holding back sales in anticipation of higher prices. The Brazilian real, which strengthened to its highest level against the U.S. dollar in three and a half weeks, has also reduced exporters' incentive to sell.
Coffee prices on July 15, 2026: Latest domestic and global updates
Meanwhile, ICE-certified Arabica inventories declined to 339,652 bags, the lowest level in more than two years, while Robusta inventories, despite recovering, remain relatively low. The market is also closely monitoring the potential emergence of a Super El Niño. The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) estimates an 81% probability that the phenomenon will strengthen toward the end of the year and continue into early 2027.
If this scenario materializes, weather conditions across many of the world's major coffee-growing regions could be significantly affected, increasing supply risks and continuing to influence global coffee prices.
