Coffee prices on October 26 globally

Globally, both the London and New York exchanges saw significant increases on October 26.

On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for November 2024 delivery rose by $ 62 (1.42%) to reach $ 4,430/ton, while the January 2025 contract increased by $ 74 (1.71%), reaching $ 4,411/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for December 2024 delivery surged by 2.95 cents (1.2%) to 248.4 cents/lb, and the March 2025 contract rose by 3.05 cents (1.25%) to 247.5 cents/lb.

Today, global coffee prices rose sharply after a recent deep decline.

Throughout 2024, coffee prices have continually risen, posing challenges and risks for fulfilling export contracts. Notably, for the first time, Robusta prices on the London exchange exceeded $ 5,000/ton, surpassing Arabica prices.

In Vietnam, coffee prices have also reached record highs, marking the highest levels in 30 years. This surge is the reason Vietnam’s coffee exports have decreased by 12.7% in volume but increased by 33% in value compared to the previous season.

Thus, global coffee prices on 10/26/2024 increased compared to the previous day.

Coffee prices on October 26 domestically

Domestically, the domestic coffee market saw a slight rise of VND 400 compared to yesterday.

In Lam Dong Province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are trading at VND 108,900/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is buying coffee at VND 109,100/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 109,000/kg.

In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are buying at VND 109,300/kg and VND 109,200/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 109,100/kg, with Pleiku and La Grai holding steady at VND 109,000/kg.

The coffee purchase price in Kon Tum today is VND 109,100/kg.

Today, domestic coffee prices have recovered and reached VND 109,000/kg.

Thus, on 10/26/2024, domestic coffee prices are trading around VND 108,400 - 109,300/kg.
