Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on 10/25/2024
Today, global coffee prices sharply declined as speculators offloaded stocks for liquidation.
Additionally, coffee prices faced downward pressure from the new harvest season in Vietnam and favorable rainfall reports in Brazil, which have eased concerns over supply shortages, driving prices on both exchanges further downward.
Weather reports indicate that rain returned to most major coffee-growing regions in Brazil last week, with cooler temperatures providing ideal conditions for coffee plants to recover and grow following an extended record dry spell.
Nonetheless, farmers and analysts still anticipate Brazil’s coffee harvest in 2025 will decrease compared to this year, as delayed rainfall has hindered the season’s full recovery.
Thus, global coffee prices on 10/25/2024, reversed sharply downward from yesterday.
In the domestic market, coffee prices today fell by VND 1,200 compared to yesterday.
In Lam Dong province, Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts are trading at VND 108,400/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is buying at VND 108,700/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 108,600/kg.
