AgroViet 2024 to open on November 20

On November 20, the 24^th Vietnam International Agriculture Trade Fair, AgroViet 2024, will open. The Fair takes place from November 20-23 at the Economic and Trade Transaction Exhibition Area (No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Co Nhue 1, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi). 

The International Agriculture Trade Fair AgroViet is an important annual trade promotion event of the agriculture and rural development sectors. This important event is organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Centre of Agriculture in coordination with the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development under the chairmanship and direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The opening ceremony of the Fair takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on November 20 at the 1st floor lobby, Agricultural Exhibition Building (No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Co Nhue 1, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi).

Following the results of the previous year's fairs, AgroViet 2024 is organized to promote and expand cooperative relations and international economic exchanges; promote brands, products, and trade transactions; and honor agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, OCOP products, agricultural products, and specialties of localities throughout the country. This is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets.

AgroViet 2024 has received participation registration from more than 100 domestic and foreign units, equivalent to 256 standard booths. Of which the international business booth area has 99 booths from countries and territories such as China, Taiwan, Mongolia, South Korea, Australia, and Russia. The domestic booth area has the participation of units from 40 localities across the country.

The Fair displays and introduces many diverse and abundant products, with many agricultural products, OCOP products, and typical local products, typically as ST25 En Vang rice, Lao Cai's Seng Cu rice, Bac Giang's Chu noodle, Dien Bien eight rice, Hong Xiem roasted duck, Chu Hanh grass jelly, Chi Lang custard apple, A Luoi beef, Hue sour shrimp, Ben Tre green-skinned grapefruit, Viet Bac lemon, Phan Thiet fish sauce and seafood, Phu Yen half-dried beef, Ly Son onion and garlic, Luong Quoi coconut oil, etc.

At the Fair, international businesses also introduce many agricultural products and foods such as abalone, olive oil, Manuka honey, native flower honey of Australia; ginseng, lingzhi mushroom, and cordyceps of South Korea; and products made from red apples, yams, convenient stewed noodles, spicy stick products, dried beans, pickled agricultural products, dried products from mushrooms, dried fruits, etc. of Henan province (China).

The Fair displays and introduces machines and equipment for production such as engines, rice mills, lawn mowers, pumps, mini cultivators, gasoline chain saws, tea drying machines, pesticide spraying drones, grain dryers, fertilizers, biological products, organic nutrients, plant seeds, irrigation systems, agricultural wraps, agricultural greenhouse components, and vaccines—unique biological products of high quality and efficiency for livestock production, veterinary medicine, and aquaculture.

For the convenience of visitors and transactions, AgroViet 2024's booths are divided into five areas, including a general exhibition booth with a scale of 120 m²; an international exhibition area of machinery and post-harvest processing technology 2024 with a scale of 1,000 m²; a domestic booth area associated with the agricultural value chain with a scale of more than 100 standard booths; an area of promoting and introducing rural tourist attractions and regional culture with a scale of 72 m²; and a culinary demonstration area with space for tasting and enjoying tea and coffee drinks on a scale of 100 m².

Within the framework of the Fair, many activities will take place such as: Vietnam - Mongolia Agricultural Product Promotion Forum (9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on November 20); Conference to promote and connect the consumption of agricultural products and OCOP products in Ninh Binh province (9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on November 20); Vietnam - China Business Trade Conference and launching ceremony of Vietnamese agricultural products booths on Chinese e-commerce platforms and social networks (1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on November 20); celebration of the 70th anniversary of establishing relations between Vietnam and Mongolia and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Mongolia (3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on November 21).
