Private sector: Growth driver and resource unlocker

Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, developed and issued under the directive of General Secretary To Lam, comes at a time when Vietnam's economy is facing intertwined opportunities and challenges. On the one hand, deepened international integration is unlocking new markets and technologies. On the other, the unpredictable fluctuations of the global economy, along with domestic economic limitations, require Vietnam’s breakthrough steps to maintain growth momentum and enhance competitiveness.

In that context, the private sector is identified as a critical driver of the economy, capable of unlocking latent resources and generating new breakthroughs. Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW reflects the Party and State's policy consistency on creating a favorable business environment, ensuring equal rights for the private sector, and encouraging innovation.

Sharing about the significance of recent major policy decisions, Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairwoman of TTC AgriS, emphasized, “The Government's recent policy decisions, such as Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private sector development, reflect a strong determination to generate new growth drivers. Additionally, these resolutions also open up big opportunities for pioneering enterprises like AgriS, which serve as catalysts for innovation, to continue contributing to Vietnam’s journey to build a creative, sustainable, and high-tech agriculture.”

Accompanying the Nation to create breakthroughs in private sector development and high-tech agriculture

At the conference, AgriS introduced its sustainable agricultural ecosystem, integrating AgTech, FoodTech, FinTech, ESG systems, and value-sharing models. The company was honored to welcome top Party and State leaders, including General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with a delegation of National Assembly representatives from provinces and cities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Thai Van Chuyen, CEO of AgriS, emphasized, “At AgriS, we believe that private sector development and digital transformation in agriculture are inseparable drivers of Vietnam’s agricultural advancement. We are committed to pioneering the creative application of digital technologies not only to enhance production capacity and optimize the value chain but also to expand markets for Vietnamese agricultural products. Through our sustainable support for farmers, we aim to generate environmental and social value. For AgriS, this is both a responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to the nation’s prosperity.”

The circular value chain and smart agriculture model deployed by TTC AgriS includes three pillars.

1. Circular trade value chain: From digitized raw material areas (using Farm Design—smart farm design, Farm Care—digital farm operations, and Farm Services—integrated agricultural services) and blockchain-based traceability to smart factory management via DigiFactory, omnichannel e-commerce, and by-product reuse according to “Zero Waste” standards.

2. Smart agricultural economy: Development of plant-based nutritional products, precision farming, end-to-end traceability, and integrated digital platforms connecting farmers, factories, and consumers.

3. International cooperation via G2G (Government-to-Government) and B2B (Business-to-Business) models: TTC AgriS is actively working with the Government and business partners in Indonesia to replicate its sustainable agriculture model regionally.

With R&D hubs and centers in Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia, AgriS leads in research and development (R&D) to provide health-friendly products for global consumers. The company also converts agricultural by-products into green products with high added value. These efforts contribute to reducing environmental pollution, realizing the Net Zero goal by 2035, and fostering sustainable agriculture for future generations.

Earlier, on May 10, 2025, within the framework of the Conference on the implementation plan of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in the Agriculture and Environment sector, AgriS and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation to promote high-tech agriculture, circular agriculture models, digital transformation, and sustainable value chains. This comprehensive cooperation marked AgriS’s critical step forward in accompanying the Government to promote breakthroughs in the development of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.

Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairwoman of AgriS, participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Agriculture and Nature on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW regarding digital transformation in agriculture.

TTC AgriS reaffirms its commitment to continued strong investment in research, technology transfer, the development of model farms, human resource training, and the construction of a digital ecosystem, from raw material area to table. The company is ready to become a strategic partner of the Government and the business community in promoting private economic development and high-tech agriculture.
