Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS, HOSE: SBT) welcomed Pang Te Cheng, the Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, for a visit and meetings at the company headquarters on the morning of September 30, 2024.

Singapore - a crucial role in TTC AgriS's global strategy

During the meeting, TTC AgriS Chairwoman Dang Huynh Uc My discussed the company's efforts to support the Vietnamese and Singaporean governments in expanding economic effectiveness and trade. Through networking opportunities with the business community and government organizations from both countries, TTC AgriS has demonstrated its leadership capabilities in high-tech agriculture and sustainable development, maintaining pace with other regional nations.

Singapore is one of the two strategic countries in TTC AgriS's global development roadmap, alongside Australia. It serves as a global financial and economic hub as well as a gateway for TTC AgriS to expand initiatives in Digital Agriculture (Agtech) and Food Technology (Foodtech) regionally and internationally.

Chairwoman Uc My stated that with its crucial bridging role, Singapore will help TTC AgriS connect with global partners, thereby promoting the development of a multilateral circular trade value chain and consolidating the company’s sustainable goals aimed at achieving net zero by 2035.

Strengthening business initiatives - Enhancing the value of Vietnamese agriculture globally

TTC AgriS is rapidly developing and diversifying its agricultural product supply for Southeast Asian countries, with special attention to Singapore, which heavily relies on imported agricultural products. With a diverse nutritional product portfolio from its crop value chain (including sugarcane, coconut, banana, and rice), TTC AgriS is optimizing the agricultural value chain to promote food security and stabilize supply for the Singaporean market.

In addition to finished products, TTC AgriS recognizes significant potential in collaborating with food processing manufacturers in Singapore. The company is currently adopting the Circular Commercial Value Chain model, effectively utilizing its R&D strengths to successfully develop the Singapore Lab. This initiative serves as a vital link in promoting technology exchange and elevating technical standards to international levels.

With over 55 years of commitment to a “green” business strategy, TTC AgriS focuses on initiatives that drive sustainable transformation in Vietnam's agricultural sector. Sustainable trade partnerships with countries such as Singapore are central to the company's global strategy.

In May 2024, TTC AgriS organized the International Partners Day in Singapore. The event featured representatives from the governments of Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia, along with strategic partners, to promote multilateral cooperation in sustainable agriculture.
