Pepper Prices on October 12 globally

On the global market, pepper prices on October 12 are showing mixed trends.

Specifically, the price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia increased by 0.31%, reaching $ 6,732/ton. The price of Muntok white pepper in the country also rose by 0.31%, standing at $ 9,002/ton.

The price of Kuching ASTA black pepper in Malaysia is $ 8,700/ton (a decrease of 1.14%), while the price of ASTA white pepper in this country is $ 11,200/ton (a decrease of 1.75%).

In the Brazilian market, ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,750/ton.

In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper with a density of 500 g/l is trading at $ 6,500/ton, while the price for 550 g/l stands at $ 6,800/ton. The export price for white pepper is currently at $ 9,850/ton.

The global pepper prices today have slightly rebounded in Indonesia but have sharply decreased in Malaysia. Meanwhile, prices in other countries remain unchanged. The IPC assesses that this week, pepper prices continue to show mixed reactions, with India and Vietnam experiencing declines.

Thus, the global pepper prices on 10/12/2024, have increased again in Indonesia compared to yesterday.

Pepper prices on October 12 domestically

In the domestic market, the pepper prices on October 12 continued to decrease sharply compared to yesterday.

Specifically, Dak Lak is purchasing pepper at 146,000 VND/kg, down VND 1,000;

The pepper price in Dak Nong today decreased by another VND 2,000, falling to VND 145,000/kg;

The pepper price in Gia Lai today decreased by VND 1,000, trading at VND 145,000/kg;

Similarly, traders in Dong Nai have purchased pepper at VND 145,000/kg;

The pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau today decreased by another VND 1,500, down to VND 144,000/kg;

Traders in Binh Phuoc are trading pepper at VND 144,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

The domestic pepper prices today have decreased by an additional VND 1,000 to VND 2,000, bringing the price of this agricultural product down to around VND 146,000/kg.

Thus, the domestic pepper prices on 10/12/2024, are trading in the range of VND 144,000 to VND 146,000/kg.
