Rice prices on December 24 domestically

The rice and paddy market on December 24 has slightly increased for some items.

The price of paddy today (December 24) remains stable. In many regions, the trade of new paddy is slow, with prices standing still.

  • Broken rice IR 4625 (fresh) is priced at VND 8,100 - 8,200/kg; the price of 3-month-old fresh sticky rice is VND 8,100 - 8,300/kg;
  • IR 50404 rice is around VND 7,400 - 7,600/kg; the price of Dai thom 8 rice is at VND 9,100 - 9,200/kg;
  • OM 5451 rice is being traded at VND 8,400 - 8,500/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg;
  • OM 380 rice holds steady at around VND 7,200/kg; Japanese rice is at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen (dry) rice is traded at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.

Meanwhile, the rice prices today (December 24) have slightly increased by VND 100.

  • The price of IR 504 Summer Autumn raw rice is VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg (up VND 100); the price of IR 504 finished rice is VND 11,300 - 11,500/kg (up VND 100);
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; regular rice is at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is VND 28,000/kg.
  • Fragrant Thai long-grain rice is VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is bought at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND 21,500/kg; Soc regular rice is VND 18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwanese fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice is holding at VND 22,500/kg.
  • The price of OM 5451 broken rice is VND 8,100 - 8,200/kg (down VND 100); dry bran is priced at VND 5,600 - 5,700/kg.

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 405/ton; standard 5% broken rice is being bought at $ 502/ton (down $ 5). Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice is at $ 470/ton (down $ 5).

Thus, the rice prices on December 24, 2024, has slightly increased compared to yesterday.
