Rice prices on December 13 domestically

The rice and paddy markets on December 13 showed a slight decrease in rice prices, while paddy prices remained stable. The supply of new paddy is limited in several regions, and transactions are slow with prices holding steady.

  • Long An 3-month (dry) glutinous rice is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 (dry) glutinous rice is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg.
  • IR 50404 paddy is trading at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg; Dai Thom 8 paddy is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.
  • OM 5451 paddy is trading at VND 8,600 - 8,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.
  • OM 380 paddy is priced at VND 7,200/kg; Japanese paddy is held at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg.
  • Nang Nhen (dry) paddy is trading at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 paddy is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.

Meanwhile, the rice prices today (December 13) showed little movement, with slow transactions and light supply. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of raw rice types has decreased slightly.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is priced at VND 10,100 - 10,200/kg (down by VND 150); processed IR 504 rice is priced at VND 12,200 - 12,400/kg.
  • Glutinous rice is priced between VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; regular rice is priced between VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced between VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is priced at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Regular white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is priced at VND 21,500/kg; Soc rice maintains a price range of VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg, while Soc Thai rice is at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwanese fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice is holding steady at VND 22,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is priced at VND 9,000 - 9,100/kg; dry bran is priced at VND 5,900 - 6,000/kg.

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $405/ton; standard 5% broken rice is purchased at $ 509/ton (down by $ 4). Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice is at $ 477/ton (down by $ 3).

Thus, the price of rice today, December 13, 2024, has slightly decreased compared to yesterday.
