Rice prices on November 3 domestically

On November 3, the price of paddy rose significantly by VND 1,000, while the price of rice saw a slight uptick.

In Dong Thap and An Giang, rice prices remained stable, with slow new paddy transactions and low demand. Specifically:

  • Long An 3-month sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg.
  • IR 50404 paddy is trading around VND 6,800 - 7,100/kg (an increase of VND 100); Dai Thom 8 paddy remains at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 paddy is trading at VND 7,300 - 7,600/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 8,400 - 8,500/kg (an increase of VND 1,000 - 1,200).
  • OM 380 paddy is steady at around VND 7,000 - 7,200/kg; Japanese paddy is at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg.
  • Nang Nhen paddy (dry) is trading at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is holding steady at VND 6,900 - 7,000/kg.

The price of rice on November 3 has seen a slight increase.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is priced at VND 10,600 - 10,700/kg (an increase of VND 50); finished IR 504 rice is priced a VNDt 12,550 - 12,650/kg (an increase of VND 50).
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; regular rice is at VND 15,000 - 16,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is at VND 18,000 - 20,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is held at VND 23,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is being purchased at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at VND 21,500/kg; Soc rice is stable at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwanese fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice is stable at VND 22,000/kg.
  • The price of OM 5451 broken rice is VND 9,300 - 9,600/kg, while dry bran is priced at VND 6,700 - 6,800/kg (an increase of VND 300).

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $ 427/ton; the price for standard 5% broken rice is $ 524/ton. The price for 25% broken rice stands at $ 497/ton. This week, the export rice prices have decreased by $ 5-7/ton.

Thus, the rice prices on 11/03/2024, have uniformly increased compared to yesterday.
