On the evening of March 15, 2023, the PH Giang Minh vessel arrived in PTSC Phu My port to receive more than 19,000 tons of Phu My urea from PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) for export. In addition to the volume of breakbulk cargo (50 kg/ton), this is the first bulk export consignment in 2023, which is regarded as a significant event for PVFCCo in particular and the Vietnamese fertilizer market in general.
In recent years, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation has concentrated on developing export markets with rapidly increasing annual volumes, and the company's prestige and position as a fertilizer exporter has been acknowledged on the international fertilizer business map.
Particularly in 2022, PVFCCo's urea export output reached the highest level ever, estimated at over 190 thousand tons. The foreign markets where PVFCCo's products have been present are mostly large and demanding markets such as India, Australia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, etc.
