After the Lunar New Year holiday, the domestic and global pepper markets have recorded significant fluctuations. Domestic pepper prices have surged by VND 1,500 – VND 2,000/kg, while on the international market, prices in some major producing countries have also shown a slight upward trend. Pepper prices on February 4 domestically

According to surveys, domestic pepper prices today range from VND 149,000 to VND 150,000/kg, up VND 1,500 – VND 2,000/kg compared to yesterday. This significant increase right after the Lunar New Year reflects high consumption demand and positive market signals.

Central Highlands region

  • Dak Lak: VND 150,000/kg, up VND 1,800/kg.
  • Dak Nong: VND 150,000/kg, up VND 1,800/kg.
  • Gia Lai: VND 149,000/kg, up VND 1,500/kg.

Southeast region

  • Ba Ria - Vung Tau: VND 149,000/kg, up VND 2,000/kg.
  • Binh Phuoc: VND 149,000/kg, up VND 2,000/kg.
  • Dong Nai: VND 149,000/kg, up VND 2,000 kg.

Thus, the highest pepper price today is recorded in Dak Lak and Dak Nong at VND 150,000/kg, while the lowest price is VND 149,000/kg in Gia Lai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, and Dong Nai.

    • 550 g/l black pepper: $ 6,650/ton (unchanged).

White Pepper Prices
