Pepper prices on December 17 globally

On the global market, pepper prices on December 17 are increasing well in Indonesia and Brazil.

Accordingly, the price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia increased by 0.85%, reaching $ 6,845/ton. The price of Muntok white pepper remains at $ 9,068/ton.

The price of Kuching ASTA black pepper from Malaysia is $ 8,200/ton; while the price of ASTA white pepper from this country is $ 10,400/ton.

For the Brazilian market, the price of ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,350/ton (an increase of 0.79%).

In Vietnam, the price of 500 g/l export black pepper is trading at $ 6,300/ton; while the 550 g/l variety is priced at $ 6,600/ton. The price of white pepper for export is $ 9,400/ton.

Global pepper prices are increasing quite well for black pepper in Indonesia and Brazil. Meanwhile, other markets remain steady.

Thus, global pepper prices on December 17, 2024, have increased significantly compared to yesterday.

Domestically, pepper prices on December 17 remain stable compared to yesterday.

Specifically, Dak Lak continues to purchase pepper at VND 146,000/kg;

Dak Nong's pepper price today is at VND 146,200/kg;

The price of pepper in Gia Lai remains at VND 145,000/kg;

Traders in Dong Nai are buying pepper at VND 146,000/kg;

Pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau remain at VND 146,000/kg;

Lastly, traders in Binh Phuoc continue to trade at VND 146,000/kg.

Domestic pepper prices today continue to remain steady, with the highest level still above VND 146,000/kg.

However, in the context of growing global competition and stringent demands from importing markets, enhancing transparency, management effectiveness, and accessibility to international customers is extremely important.

At the same time, it aims to help importers easily find supplying businesses, exporters, and cooperatives according to product type, certification, factories, or production organizations linked together.

Thus, domestic pepper prices on December 17, 2024, are trading around VND 145,000 - 146,200/kg.
