According to VPSA, the Vietnamese Pepper and Spice industry is increasingly asserting its position in the international market, becoming one of the leading suppliers of high-quality products such as pepper, cinnamon, star anise, and various other spices.
However, in the context of growing global competition and stringent demands from importing markets, enhancing transparency, management effectiveness, and accessibility to international customers is extremely important.
The purpose of the Digital Map of Vietnam's Pepper and Spice is to provide information on the area, output, and regions of pepper and spice cultivation in Vietnam; details on weather, soil conditions, and harvest times for different spice crops; quality standards, export standards, and characteristics of some Vietnamese spice plants.
At the same time, it aims to help importers easily find supplying businesses, exporters, and cooperatives according to product type, certification, factories, or production organizations linked together.
Thus, domestic pepper prices on December 17, 2024, are trading around VND 145,000 - 146,200/kg.
