(VAN) Pepper prices on April 21, 2025, remain flat across the board. Currently, domestic pepper prices continue to trade in the range of VND 155,000–156,000/kg.

Pepper prices on April 21 globally

Globally, pepper prices on April 21 remained flat across all key markets.

Accordingly, the price of black pepper (Lampung) in Indonesia held steady at $ 7,056/ton, while white pepper (Muntok) remained at $ 9,641/ton.

In Malaysia, the price of Kuching ASTA black pepper was unchanged at $ 9,600/ton, and white pepper ASTA stayed at $ 12,100/ton.

In the Brazilian market, black pepper ASTA 570 was trading around $ 6,900/ton.

In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper grade 500 g/l stood at $ 6,800/ton, while grade 550 g/l was priced at $ 6,900/ton. The export price of white pepper remained at $ 9,800/ton.

Global pepper prices today remain unchanged. Over the past week, Vietnam’s export pepper prices rose sharply by 1.47% to 3.03%, while pepper prices in Indonesia, Brazil, and Malaysia fell by as much as 2.54%.

Thus, global pepper prices on April 21, 2025, remained flat compared to the previous day.

Traders in Dong Nai continue to purchase pepper at VND 155,000/kg.

In Ba Ria – Vung Tau, prices are unchanged at VND 155,000/kg.

Traders in Binh Phuoc are also maintaining transactions at VND 155,000/kg.

Thus, domestic pepper prices on April 21, 2025, are being traded in the range of VND 155,000–156,000/kg.
