The handover ceremony for a shipment of 2.5 million Mebi One shrimp seeds from Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company (Quang Nam), valued at $ 10,000, to Yong Sing Seafood Co., Ltd (Taiwan) was held on September 23 in Quang Nam.
In 2024-2025, Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company aims to achieve an export value of shrimp seeds to the Taiwanese market of $ 300,000. This figure marks a significant milestone for Mebi One shrimp seeds to enter challenging shrimp farming markets in Asia.
After more than a year of field trials at shrimp farms in Taiwan, Mebi One shrimp seeds have met the growth criteria and expectations of farmers. Based on this, Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company and Yong Sing Seafood Co., Ltd reached an agreement and officially signed a commercial cooperation contract to develop Mebi One shrimp seeds in the Taiwanese market.
Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company officially entered the shrimp seed production sector in 2024. With the vision of "Breaking Limits - Conquering Heights," Kim Hoang has launched its first line of shrimp seed products named Mebi One, asserting high quality, disease-free status, and confidence in overcoming all harvest seasons.

Mebi One shrimp seeds are produced using advanced, modern, and closed processes, with parent shrimp sourced from the United States and developed in an environment supervised by top industry experts to ensure uniform output quality.
Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company currently owns a standardized and synchronized facility system covering an area of 8.5 ha in Binh Nam commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam. This includes 4.5 ha dedicated to shrimp seed production and 4 ha for auxiliary buildings and experimental technology transfer.
Notably, the shrimp seed production area features a fully integrated infrastructure, including an operations centre, a live algae cultivation area, artemia production, and related facilities to support high-tech shrimp seed production, with an annual capacity of approximately 5 billion post-larvae.
The export of Mebi One shrimp seeds to the Taiwanese market marks a milestone for Kim Hoang Aquatic Breeding Joint Stock Company in entering the demanding shrimp farming markets in Asia.
