More than 185 experts and researchers attended the international conference on marine technology

(VAN) The 5th international conference on marine science, technology and fisheries attracted more than 185 participants, including over 35 international delegates.

From March 27-28, at Nha Trang University (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa), the 5th international conference on marine science, technology and fisheries (MFST 2025) was held. The event was jointly organized by Nha Trang University and National Taiwan Ocean University.

The conference attracted more than 185 researchers, scholars, and experts in the fields of marine science, technology, and sustainable economic activities. Among the participants were over 35 international delegates from countries such as Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and others.

This conference provided a valuable platform for scientists to present and share their latest groundbreaking research, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions on innovative solutions to the current challenges facing the marine industry.

Throughout the event, participants discussed the latest advancements in six main areas of focus: aquaculture technology; marine environment and climate change; sustainable fisheries and resource conservation; seafood processing and post-harvest technology; marine infrastructure, transport, and smart aquaculture; and the marine economy and green tourism.

In addition to the scientific discussion sessions, the conference featured exhibition booths displaying cutting-edge products and technologies related to maritime and fisheries industries. This offered an excellent platform for organizations and businesses to present their innovations, engage with potential partners, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in these dynamic fields.

Moreover, the two parties involved in the conference organized side meetings aimed at fostering new collaborative efforts in specialized training for key industries.

The international conference on marine science, technology and fisheries is held biennially to realize the strategic partnership established between Nha Trang University and National Taiwan Ocean University in May 2024.
