(VAN) August 6, 2021, live pork prices simultaneously decrease in three regions. Meanwhile, white shrimp prices and snakehead prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Live pork prices

Live pork prices today, August 6, in the Northern market, decrease by VND 1,000-2,000 per kilogram.

Specifically, the live pork price is the North’s lowest of VND 51,000 in Tuyen Quang province.

After a decrease by VND 1,000-2,000 per kilogram, in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Thai Binh provinces, the live pork price keep the highest at VND 54,000 per kilogram.

In North Central Coast and Central Highlands, live pork prices today also decrease compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 52,000-55,000 per kilogram.

In Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Binh Dinh và Nghe An provinces, the live pork price is VND 54,000 per kilogram, after reducing VND 1,000-2,000.

The live pork price is VND 53,000 per kilogram in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Binh Thuan provinces.

With the sharpest decrease by VND 3,000, the live pork price is VND 52,000 per kilogram.

In the South, live pork prices decrease by VND 2,000 per kilogram compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 52,000-53,000 per kilogram.

Traders in Dong Thap proving purchase live pork at the region’s lowest VND 51,000 per kilogram, decreasingly by VND 2,000 per kilogram.

The lowest price is still recognized in Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces, at VND 50,000, decreasingly by VND 2,000 per kilogram.

White shrimp prices

In Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces, white shrimp prices today, August 6, are adjusted oppositely compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 79,500-220,000, depending on types.

Specifically, the white shrimp price is VND 200,000-220,000 per kilogram for the size of 20 pieces.

For the size of 25 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 150,000-155,000 per kilogram, a decrease by VND 4,000 per kilogram.

For the size of 30 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 131,000-133,000 per kilogram, a decrease by VND 2,000 per kilogram.

But, for the size of 40 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 111,000-113,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

For the size of 50 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 99,000-101,000 per kilogram, an increase by VND 5,000 per kilogram.

For the size of 60 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 92,500-93,500 per kilogram, an increase by VND 3,000 per kilogram.

For the size of 70 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 87,500-88,500 per kilogram, an increase by VND 2,000 per kilogram.

For the size of 80 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 79,500-80,500 per kilogram.

Pangasius prices

In the past three months, the price of pangasius and breeds has decreased by 30-50% in the Mekong Delta due to the export market facing many difficulties. According to the Vietnam Pangasius Association, in the first two months of the year, pangasius prices were at high about VND 30,000-31,000 per kilogram, but now only VND 20,500-22,500.

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho and Hau Giang provinces, pangasius prices today, August 6, are VND 21,000-22,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for pangasius breeds with the size of 30-35 pieces are VND 19.500-20.000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Snakehead prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, and Tra Vinh provinces, snakehead prices today, August 6, are VND 44,000-45,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for snakehead breeds with the size of 500-700 pieces are VND 200-300 per piece, unchanged compared to yesterday.
