Update on the price of live pork market in 3 regions on 05/09/2023
Live pork price on 05/09 in the Northern market increased and decreased in contrast to yesterday.
The price in Hung Yen decreased slightly by VND 1,000/kg, bringing the purchase price to VND 53,000/kg. This is also the transaction price level in Thai Nguyen after a VND 1,000/kg increase.
VND 53,000/kg is also the anchor price in Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, and Hanoi.
The highest transaction level in the region is currently VND 54,000/kg in Vinh Phuc, after an increase of VND 2,000/kg.
Other localities did not see any new changes, continuing to stabilize at VND 52,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork today, May 9, 2023, in the Northern market is trading at VND 52,000 - 54,000/kg.
Live pork price on 05/09 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased to VND 2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Specifically, after a slight increase in price, Quang Binh and Quang Tri have raised the purchasing level to VND 53,000/kg. This is on par with Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, and Binh Thuan provinces.
After increasing the price by VND 2,000/kg, the price in Binh Dinh has risen to the highest level in the region at VND5 4,000/kg. This is also the transaction price anchored in Quang Ngai and Lam Dong.
Consequently, the price of live pork today, May 9, 2023, in the Central and Central Highlands is around VND 51,000 - 54,000/kg.
Live pork price today 05/09 in the southern market increased by VND 1,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, many provinces such as Hau Giang, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Ben Tre, and Soc Trang both increased the price slightly and brought the purchasing level to VND 53,000/kg.
The remaining localities had no new changes compared to yesterday.
Thus, the price of live pork today, May 9, 2023, in the whole South continues to trade around the threshold of VND 52,000 - 55,000/kg.
