VND 59,000/kg is the transaction level in the two provinces of Bac Giang and Thai Binh, after increasing by VND 1,000/kg. This is also the price in Phu Tho after increasing by VND 3,000/kg.
The remaining localities are priced at VND 60,000/kg, after an increase of VND 1,000 - 4,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/28/2023 in the Northern market is trading at VND 58,000 - 60,000/kg.
Live pork prices on May 28 in the Central and Central Highlands markets are flat compared to yesterday. This week, the live pork market here increased from VND 2,000 to 4,000/kg.
Specifically, live pork in Quang Tri is being purchased by traders for VND 55,000/kg, after increasing by VND 2,000/kg.
After increasing the price from VND 2,000 to VND 3,000/kg, a series of provinces in Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Ha Tinh, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, and Ninh Thuan traded up to VND 58,000/kg.
In the remaining localities, traders are buying at the price of VND 59,000/kg, after an increase of VND 2,000 - 4,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/28/2023 in the Central and Central Highlands is around VND 55,000 - 59,000/kg.
Live pork price on May 28 in the southern market has no new changes compared to yesterday. The live pork market in the South this week increased sharply by VND 6,000/kg.
Accordingly, the price in Long An increased the most by VND 6,000/kg, bringing the transaction level here to the highest price in the region - VND 61,000/kg.
After increasing from VND 2,000 to VND 4,000/kg, a series of provinces of Dong Nai, Hau Giang, Vung Tau, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh and Ben Tre all purchased at the price of VND 60,000/kg.
After increasing the price by VND 2,000/kg, Tien Giang raised the transaction level to VND 56,000/kg - on par with Ca Mau.
Other provinces and cities are maintaining purchasing levels in the range of VND 57,000 - VND 59,000/kg, after increasing the price by VND 1,000 - 3,000/kg.
