Price of live pork in the North on May 27

Live pork prices on May 27 in the Northern market decreased slightly in some places compared to yesterday. 

In which, Bac Giang and Phu Tho both reduced the price by VND 1,000/kg, bringing the purchasing level to VND 59,000/kg.

Along with a slight decrease, Hung Yen reached a trading level of VND 60,000/kg - the highest price in the region today.

The remaining localities show no new changes.

Thus, the live pork price on 05/27/2023 in the North market is trading at VND 58,000 - 60,000/kg.

Live pork price in Central and Central Highlands on May 27

Live pork prices on May 27 in the Central and Central Highlands markets remained unchanged compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the lowest transaction level in the region continues to be anchored in Quang Tri, with a price of VND 55,000/kg.

Prices in other provinces in the area are moving sideways and are around VND 58,000 - 59,000/kg.

Thus, today's live pork price on 05/27/2023 in the Central and Central Highlands is buying around VND 55,000 - 59,000/kg.

Price of live pork in the South on May 27

Live pork price on May 27 in the southern market is less volatile compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, Vinh Long decreased the price slightly to VND 60,000/kg. The prices in the remaining localities remained stable.

Notably, Ca Mau and Tien Giang are still the two localities with the lowest purchasing price in the region, anchoring at VND 56,000/kg.

Meanwhile, Long An is holding the highest trading level in the region today, at VND 61,000/kg.

Thus, the price of live pork on 05/27/2023 in the whole South continues to trade around the threshold of VND 56,000 - 61,000/kg.
