The live pig market in the North continues to decline compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, the pig prices in Lao Cai have fallen to VND 64,000/kg after a decrease of VND 1,000.
With the same reduction, traders in Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, and Thai Binh are also trading at VND 65,000/kg.
Except for Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Hanoi, which are purchasing at the highest price in the region at VND 66,000/kg, other localities are only seeing prices at VND 65,000/kg.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Northern region on 10/16/2024, are trading at VND 64,000 - 66,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions has decreased by an additional VND 1,000 compared to yesterday.
Specifically, only the price of live pigs in Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan remains stable at VND 64,000/kg.
Other localities have all seen a slight decrease, trading in the range of VND 63,000 - 64,000/kg.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on 10/16/2024, are purchased around VND 63,000 - 64,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Southern region has slightly decreased compared to yesterday.
In particular, the prices in Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, and Tien Giang have dropped to VND 63,000/kg—the lowest in the region.
Also decreasing by 1 price, traders in Long An, An Giang, Can Tho, and Ca Mau have traded at the level of VND 64,000/kg.
Other localities have maintained the same prices as yesterday.
