Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, localities, agencies and units to organize practical, effective implementations that suit actual conditions.
Concurrently, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and communication to raise community awareness on environmental protection, climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation and the protection of marine and island resources and environment.
Additionally, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Construction; Industry and Trade; Finance; Justice; Science and Technology; Education and Training; and Health, along with the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command, People's Committees of communes and wards and the Phu Quy coastal special zone, based on their assigned functions and tasks, are responsible for proactively coordinating with the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
The units will focus on effectively deploying activities in response to World Oceans Day (June 8) and the 2026 Viet Nam Sea and Islands Week. The Provincial People's Committee requested units to step up the propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and the State's legal policies on the integrated management of resources, protection of the marine and island environment, marine biodiversity conservation and sustainable blue marine economic development.
In parallel, they must strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly detect and handle violations of laws concerning marine and island resources and environment according to their competence, as well as coordinate to resolve any difficulties or obstacles arising during implementation.
