The signing ceremony on a strategic cooperation agreement in the logistics sector between the Hung Nhon Group and Thong Quan Company took place on November 5 in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai.
The curriculum focuses on the growth and expansion of corporate operations in both the domestic and international logistics sectors.
With over two decades of expertise, the Hung Nhon Group has grown from livestock production to a "multi-industry" conglomerate. It is now a major player in a variety of industries, including investment and development of high-tech agriculture, import and export, logistics, and real estate, as well as offering environmental solutions and biosafety compliance with international standards in Vietnam.
Hung Nhon Group has been supporting investments in large-scale livestock production by using cutting-edge European technology with a closed process including breeding, feed, processing, and slaughtering in accordance with ISO, Global GAP, and other worldwide specialized standards. Hung Nhon Group is the parent company of 15 member firms and a chain of DHN, with a farm system spanning the Southeast area and the Central Highlands.
While VIFACO industrial equipment joint-stock company, which is affiliated with the Hung Nhon Group, specializes in providing comprehensive and modern technological solutions for husbandry, including automated technology for pig and chicken farms; veterinary medicine products, and barn disinfectants...
Additionally, the firm designs and installs wastewater treatment systems for livestock that meet European requirements. VIFACO will continue to develop and promote logistics services such as sea freight forwarding, air freight forwarding, inland trucking, customs agency, 3PL integration, multimodal transport, project cargo handling, and warehousing. Thong Quan has steadily established a reputation for excellence in the logistics business in Vietnam and across the globe as a result of its evolution toward a professional, creative, and productive work environment.
To deliver the greatest and most relevant services to market demand, the enterprise's whole management system and service processes comply with the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. The company's primary business lines include multi-modal freight services, customs clearance agents, consulting on import and export customs procedures, import and export entrustment services, warehousing, mining tax reporting, agricultural products trading services, and agricultural products import and export.
Vietnam has entered a phase of fast growth, with rising buying power and a burgeoning retail sector serving as important drivers of the country's logistics business.
Vietnam's logistics business has several potentials to expand and engage more fully in the world's transportation transaction hubs as a TPP member.
.. Recognizing the tremendous potential inherent in their current capabilities, VIFACO and Thong Quan have collaborated to grow and extend their commercial operations in the Vietnamese and worldwide logistics markets.
According to the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), 95 percent of logistics firms in the country are presently Vietnamese. Despite the enormous number, the size in terms of money and human resources, as well as expertise with international operations, is rather small. There is no connection between the phases of the logistics supply chain, nor between logistics service providers and import-export businesses. As a result, domestic logistics businesses have operational constraints in both the purchasing and selling directions.
The two units will cooperate in the field of development and expansion of business activities in the Vietnamese and the international logistics market in general.
The year 2021 is expected to be a difficult one for the economy and logistics in particular since worldwide commerce will be impacted by the Covid-19 epidemic. While certain logistical operations have remained unchanged as a result of the pandemic, others, such as logistics servicing e-commerce, have been overburdened as a result of the rapid surge in consumer traffic and home delivery orders.
However, a survey by Research and Markets market.com estimates that the worldwide logistics industry would reach UDS 3.215 billion in 2021, up 17.6 percent from 2020. This demonstrates that the logistics business still has a lot of room for growth. The global logistics industry is being propelled forward by the revival of international trade flows. Additionally, the Government's trade liberalization and post-Covid-19 economic growth boost initiatives are supporting market development.
Vietnam's economy is currently export-oriented. The government is promoting manufacturing and recruiting investment in this sector via the establishment of economic and industrial zones. In recent years, manufacturing and processing have attracted the most international investment.
Vietnam has also set a target that by 2025, logistics services will contribute 5-6 percent to GDP, logistics services will grow at a rate of 15-20 percent, logistics services will be outsourced at a rate of 50-60 percent, logistics costs will be reduced to equivalent to 16-20 percent of GDP, and Vietnam will be ranked 50th or higher on the world LPI index.
VND 40,000,000 donation to the Dong Nai Province study encouragement fund
To enhance the quality of learning and to further promote the locality's study and talent promotion, representatives of the participating enterprises contributed VND 40,000,000 to the Dong Nai province's study promoting fund.
VIFACO and Thong Quan hope to achieve the following objectives through this strategic cooperation program: increased competitiveness and development of logistics services in Vietnam; opportunities to expand the logistics service market in Vietnam; connecting logistics service businesses with corporations, businesses, and others to learn about the demand for logistics products and services; digital transformation of logistics and supply chain in Vietnam; opportunities for businesses to join the supply chain and provide payment solutions, logistics solutions, and new models with specific characteristics in Vietnam.
