The Vietnam Sustainable Business Forum 2024 is an event that promotes dialogue on sustainable business development between the business community and the Vietnamese government, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD).
The forum program consists of two parts: thematic sessions and plenary sessions. In the thematic discussion, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Senior Deputy General Director of C.P. Vietnam, participated in the topic: “A Comprehensive Approach to Green Transformation Towards Net Zero.”
Mr. Vu Anh Tuan stated that green transformation and achieving Net Zero are significant goals that C.P. Vietnam is vigorously pursuing. The company has continually invested in green transformation, including advanced technology, modern machinery, and the use of clean and sustainable energy, while also implementing numerous initiatives to reduce packaging waste.
Practicing green transformation not only enhances production efficiency and resource savings but also optimizes costs, creates a competitive edge, and builds a strong brand reputation and trust among partners and customers. As a natural result of focusing on environmental concerns, the company also attracts more environmentally-conscious customers, suppliers, and partners.

The delegates attending the forum.
C.P. Vietnam’s General Director, Mr. Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit, has always been committed to sustainable development activities, especially the Net Zero goal. He shared: “Joining forces with other companies to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, C.P. Vietnam, along with C.P. Group, is implementing actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our operations and value chain, including business partners and customers.
The C.P. Group’s value chain is examined from the supply of raw materials from farmers and suppliers to the production operations of factories and farms, and ultimately to the end consumers. We assess each activity in this value chain to calculate emissions and set reduction targets and actions aligned with the Group’s sustainability strategy.”
Through the forum, C.P. Vietnam and other companies will continue to engage in sustainable production and management, contributing to the development and creation of a cohesive green transformation within the Vietnamese business community, aiming towards the Net Zero goal.
