Representing C.P. Vietnam, Mr. Chamnan Wangakkarangkul - Deputy General Director, attended the ceremony and performed the signing ceremony to become a member of PRO Vietnam along with other new members. The event is not only an opportunity for CPV to officially join the organization's network, but also affirms the company's strong commitment to environmental protection, and promotes cooperation in improving packaging recycling efficiency and waste management.

As one of the leading companies in the livestock and food processing industry in Vietnam, CPV always pays attention to and emphasizes sustainable packaging management in the supply chain. The company aims to have 100% recyclable, reusable and compostable food packaging by 2030, while eliminating unnecessary, problematic packaging. By the end of 2023, CPV's plastic reduction activities in the food production and business industry have reached more than 90% of the set goal.

Using Silo bins to store animal feed at C.P. Vietnam's farms helps reduce the use of plastic packaging.

In addition, C.P. Vietnam constantly launches initiatives to reduce the use of plastic in business activities. CPV has been using tank trucks to transport bran directly from the production site to the farm. Using tank trucks to transport bran not only ensures the quality of bran when it reaches farmers, but also helps reduce more than 2,000 tons of plastic discharged into the environment each year. In addition, CPV also uses reusable V-plus boxes to transport shrimp seeds from farms to customers, instead of plastic bags.

With innovative efforts and commitment to promoting sustainable solutions to protect the environment, CPV hopes that by joining the PRO Vietnam network, the company will contribute to creating a positive impact with businesses, build a greener future and promote a circular economy in packaging recycling in Vietnam, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam.
