Technology and environment placed at the core of sustainable development

(VAN) SEIKI Group envisions itself as a pioneer in the ‘dual transformation’ of digital technology and green industry, standing alongside the Government and Vietnamese businesses in their pursuit of sustainable development.

These insights were shared by Dau Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SEIKI Group, at the "80 Years of Achievements in Agriculture and Environment - Reaching for the Green Era" exhibition. At the event, SEIKI showcased the standout environmental technologies that have defined its brand over the years.

Modernizing environmental analysis

SEIKI has undergone nearly 20 years of development and maturation, starting from humble beginnings as an equipment supplier for the coal mining sector. From its initial projects with the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group (TKV), the Group gradually built its technical capabilities, forming a team of engineers proficient in equipment, automation, and high-tech operations within harsh environments.

Over nearly two decades, SEIKI has continuously expanded into energy, petrochemical refining, cement, and water supply and drainage, with the environmental sector serving as a key pillar. Transcending its role as a mere equipment supplier, SEIKI has evolved into an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor and technical consultant for numerous key national projects, contributing to the green transformation and digitalization of Vietnam's industrial sector.

Member companies of the SEIKI Group are currently pioneers in various fields, supplying measurement systems, automation, and inverters, as well as environmental monitoring solutions such as automated wastewater monitoring, emissions tracking, ambient air monitoring, and water treatment.

Notably, SEIKI served as the general contractor for the supply and turnkey installation of the "Enhancing Environmental Monitoring Capacity" and "Installation of 18 National Air Quality Monitoring Stations" projects, deployed across 16 provinces and cities nationwide in 2023–2024. These stations were designed, supplied, and installed synchronously in accordance with US and European standards, using equipment from Thermo Fisher (USA). They fully comply with Vietnam Standard 05:2023/BTNMT and Circular 10/2021/TT-BTNMT. To date, data transmission remains stable, continuous, and synchronized with the National Data Control Center, supporting nationwide air quality supervision, forecasting, and warning efforts.

In the era of Industry 4.0, digital technology and artificial intelligence are not merely trends but drivers of progress. When harmoniously combined with "green industry," they represent the path of sustainable development that SEIKI steadfastly pursues.

On the one hand, SEIKI collaborates with leading global corporations such as Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer, Technip, ABB, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation to bring advanced technology to Vietnam. On the other hand, the unit invests in progressively localizing the production of equipment, software, dataloggers, and gas analysis cabinets to meet domestic demand and enhance competitiveness proactively.

"All-in-one" environmental monitoring solutions

"For SEIKI, investing in the environment is investing in the future," stated Dau Tuan Anh, Chairman of SEIKI Group. "If businesses proactively choose modern technology from the start, they will not face anxieties regarding pollution or remediation costs later. Environmental responsibility cannot be a mere reactive measure; it requires a long-term vision for sustainable development."

SEIKI currently provides "All-in-One" solutions that integrate everything from measurement devices and automation to environmental monitoring software. This allows factories to access necessary parameters for effective operational management, emissions reduction, legal compliance, and sustainable growth.

Vietnamese businesses are currently facing a significant opportunity. The Politburo and the Government have issued numerous critical policies regarding the development of science, technology, and the environmental industry. This serves as a "boost," creating conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to rise with confidence.

Above all, technology only realizes its actual value when led by knowledgeable and ethical people. SEIKI upholds professional ethics, sincerity, and a spirit of win-win cooperation.

"We do not choose to go fast through opportunistic shortcuts or by creating 'virtual value.' Instead, we choose to go far through knowledge, steadfastness, and a long-term vision. A strong enterprise is defined not just by scale or capital, but by the depth of its knowledge and creative capacity, as well as its ability to inspire joint development with partners and the community," the Chairman affirmed.

Embracing the philosophy that "if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together," SEIKI is always ready to cooperate and build an ecosystem with domestic and international partners to create lasting value for Vietnam. Targeting 2028, SEIKI Group aims to become a sustainable multi-industry corporation, with SEIKI focusing on the commercial and industrial sectors and DEAHAN on technology and the environment.

"We aspire to contribute to creating a sustainably developed Vietnam, where technology, people, and the environment walk hand in hand, so that every step forward for SEIKI is also a step forward for the community. We always believe that an enterprise only truly becomes great when it knows how to link technology with responsibility toward the environment and people," Dau Tuan Anh emphasized.
