(VAN) Coffee prices on June 5, 2025, increased by VND 100 domestically, trading at VND 113,600 – 114,100/kg. Global coffee prices rose simultaneously.

Globally, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges rose simultaneously on June 5, 2025.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery increased by $ 37 (equivalent to 0.83%), reaching $ 4,472/ton. The September 2025 contract rose slightly by $8 (or 0.18%) to $ 4,345/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for July 2025 delivery jumped by 5.3 cents (or 1.55%) to 346.15 cents/lb. Meanwhile, the September 2025 contract rose by 5.25 cents (also 1.55%) to 343.85 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today saw a slight increase on the London exchange and a stronger rise of over 1.5% on the New York exchange, as the strengthening of the Brazilian Real triggered short-covering activity in the coffee futures market.

According to the International Coffee Organization (ICO), global coffee exports in April reached 11.43 million bags, down 5.5% compared to the same period last year. The cumulative total for the first seven months of the 2024–2025 crop year reached 78.51 million bags, a 3.5% decrease from the previous crop year.

Thus, global coffee prices on June 5, 2025, are showing a solid increase compared to the previous day.

In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is currently purchasing coffee at 114,100 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at 114,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are respectively trading at 114,100 and 114,000 VND/kg.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at 113,800 VND/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a level of 113,700 VND/kg.

As for Kon Tum province, today’s coffee purchasing price is 113,700 VND/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on June 5, 2025 are trading around the range of 113,600 – 114,100 VND/kg.
